In 2017 Barry and Elaine Martin left their busy lives in the Surrey Hills and moved into their Chateau “project” full time.

Chateau de Grandchamp with it’s 30 acres of parkland Is a massive restoration challenge.
“It has 16th century origins and it’s amazing history means we have to restore it with care. It is such a privilege to live here and comes with a huge responsibility to do a good job and preserve it’s heritage.”
